How to Reach

Air

Nearest Airport is at Jubbarhatti in Shimla which is about 90 kms from the Cottage. Direct flights from Delhi are available every day to Shimla, from where you can travel by road. Cabs are easily available from the Airport.

Rail

The closest railway station is at Shimla. It is linked with Kalka railway station by a narrow gauge railway line which is recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Site. The train journey to Shimla from Kalka station is once-in-a-lifetime experience as toy trains traverse 880 bridges and 102 tunnels.

Road

Thanedar, the nearest town is just 2 km from the Cottage. Thanedar is 82 kms away from Shimla and only 10 kms from Narkanda. You can reach Narkanda via Cab or AC Volvo Bus from Delhi/Shimla. From Narkanda you can easily hire a taxi to the Cottage or ask us to make a pick-up arrangement for you.

There was a time, not too long ago, when I would be surprised to hear anyone say I’d end up where I am today, fondly hosting and entertaining families, friends, experienced, solo and women travellers.
